When Jessie Jo was just seven years old, her mom and dad took her to see a local production of Mulan Jr. Seeing kids her age onstage, she turned to her parents and told them she didn't want to sit in the audience, she wanted to be onstage. Within a few months, Jessie Jo auditioned for Beauty and Beast and landed every kid's first dream role, Chip! She's lived on stage ever since.
Fast-forward, Jessie Jo is a professional actress living in the Greatest City in the World, New York City! Taking a slightly different route, Jessie Jo graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism and Mass Communication from Arizona State University. The proud daughter of a Japanese immigrant mother, Jessie Jo served as the President of the ASU chapter of the Asian American Journalists Association. Comfortable in front of a camera and on stage, Jessie Jo spent her time in college reporting for daily broadcasts and performing in professional theatre productions.
